The album was written in the throes of my first year as a mother. A mad, beautiful time. Gardens growing under kitchen doors, sounds at night, wildness, searching for myself again, moving back from the city to my hometown, and then - and always - the sea. I love this record, and everything contained in it. I never intended it to be released during such a scary time, but in those early lockdown days, spent in gardens, looking through windows at the world outside, it seemed to find its place. Very fond memories, too, of this impromptu photo shoot in our garden with the legend
