So proud to finally share our new documentary Braving the Blue ๐๐
This one feels extra special to me. Set in my home county of Pembrokeshire, and my first commissioned idea that I led from early development; securing access, shaping the narrative and writing the treatment. I also had the pleasure of assisting the amazingly talented producer/director Megan during production and post. Plus some Baywatch style sound recording in my bikini at the beach ๐
The film follows the @thebluetits an incredible group of women whoโve overcome huge personal challenges, finding strength and community through cold water swimming and challenging themselves.
Itโs been a privilege to work with such an amazing group of contributors and a brilliant crew (bonus to be filming with my bestie @_____ren____ ) and to have the support of the commissioners at @bbccymruwales to bring this story to life. Thank you to everyone involved ๐ฉต

literally could not be more proud of them, from getting up to all sorts of mischief in our twenties, hearing @rawmeat__ practicing guitar in her room in our house in canton, their first headline show at clwb to watching them play to thousands of people at shangri-la at glasto in 2023! now theyโve got a freaking debut recordddd are you kidding me!!!
theyโve achieved so many amazing things already and it genuinely couldnโt happen to a better bunch of girls ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ canโt wait to see what they do next.
