The new @zacbrownband album dropped yesterday. I co-wrote tracks 1, 2, 4, 8, 9, 10, and 12. I worked out these songs over the course of a couple years, and the wait for their release has been excruciating at times! I met Zac during a very difficult time in my life, and he has shown himself to be a good friend, collaborator, and motivator. He gets what Iām tryna do, and weāve got a good thing going on. So, yeah. Good stuff. Thanks to my publisher @curbwordmusicpub@itissarawithanh for putting up with all my schedule chaos and ADHD while we got this done. ZBB was and is still one of my favorite bands in America - go see em play some of these songs (and all the hits!) at the Sphere this month if you can!
Itās finally out! @maxmcdermott_official and I worked on this song for many months to get it just right. Iāve never believed in an artist like I believe in Max - he has so much more to say - we hope this song will help facilitate that. Thanks to @gregmagers , @tawgs , and @danshike for help with production, programming, mixing, and mastering. A big gracious AMEN and thank you to the enigmatic @matt_thebanjoplayer - who recorded his banjo part from a tour bus 5000 miles away. It took a village but we did it.
