💡2019: during our annual gf trip, Jen shares her vision for bluejay - bicycles were a symbol of freedom & independence during the women’s movement. She wanted ppl to feel the sense of play & freedom she felt riding her first ebike
🚲 2020: she launched bluejay and was flushing out her gtm. She had a vision hotels would want bluejays so we manifested it riding along the board walk in Miami. She had her first big pitch that wk!
💕for me, riding a bluejay felt free, like being a kid again. 🦋

I know of Robert Schumann — the composer, pianist, critic during the romantic era. But Clara?
At a private preview concert with prodigy @yekwonsunwoo , I was introduced to Clara Schumann’s music for the first time.
First of all, Yekwon Sunwoo, is the first Korean Van Cliburn International Piano Competition winner among several global awards...
His performance was mesmerizing with technical precision and emotion that charged the room.
So who is Clara? She was Robert’s wife.
She was a prodigy, a virtuoso pianist, and a composer BEFORE Robert.
In fact she was Robert’s inspiration to leave law school to pursue piano.
For too long, her work was overshadowed by her husband’s legacy.
🎶 Yekwon brought Clara’s compositions came to life, bridging the gap between history and modernity.
Clara never played Carnegie Hall. But tonight, through Yekwon, she will.
It’s a reminder that some voices can find new life through the passion of artists like Yekwon.
How many other female artists do we have yet to discover? What are the stories that need to be told??
