Great Britain Women have added an additional player to their extended roster – and she is hoping to be an inspiration for other women in sport.

15 year old Jacob Henry is one of the UK’s most exciting up and coming baseball talents.
Jacob first represented Team UK at just 9 years old and is now proudly playing for Team GB U15s, helping the team win their qualifier. Alongside his international success, he also plays for the Archers, continuing to impress with his skill, dedication, and passion for the game.
All of this whilst managing his GCSE’s, he’s a hugely exciting young player with a bright future ahead. We can’t wait to watch Jacob continue to develop and achieve great things!

After recently returning from Spring Training in Holland at the Amsterdam Pirates baseball complex, where the GB Women’s National Team - along with members of the development squad - were joined by the Quebec Women’s Baseball Academy, the British Baseball Federation and Great Britain Baseball Team are pleased to announce the 26-player extended roster for this year’s WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup Qualifiers, which will take place in Chinese Taipei this August.
