It might be my home course but I’m pretty chuffed with 2nd in the @uk.ocr series 8k race at Tartan Warrior in brutal conditions on Sunday.
We never train on these obstacles in conditions as tough as that under that fatigue so to get a clean run and no penalties is some achievement
Congrats to @morganwmaxwell 1st and @walshy4972 in 3rd for achieving the same Plus I’m pretty sure @cameronmontgomerie and @samcooke.ocr did in the 14-17 yrs too.🙌🏼

PB and 2nd place at the Hyrox European Champs yesterday with @iain.irving
Not our best performance - reckon we could knock off another 1-2 mins on a better day
However with the world record holders in 1st this was as good a result as we could have hoped for 😁
Couldn’t have done without our groupies @allyleg84 and @daviemurray85 who came along for their first Hyrox experience. 🙌🏼
Thanks to @rushbynature for my run/S&C programming, @thewrightpainmanagement for the tune up this week - adductor held together 😅 - and to @connectedchiropracticltd for helping keeping my aging body in tact 😂
The bar was raised again by Hyrox in Glasgow this week - cracking event and atmosphere On Friday night we got 1st Overall in mixed relay ahead of the young teams!
