Shadow Pattern & Sandy Winiferová - Desire Path CS
A fantastic collaboration between Canadian artist Nathan Ivanco (Shadow Pattern) and American artist Brandon Hupp (Sandy Winiferová). Field recordings, tape manipulations and minimalist guitar movements. Probably one of the most peaceful tapes I’ve had the pleasure of releasing on this label.
As of 7/13 at 2:22pm our debut album “Acts of Devotion” is out on bandcamp. Limited physical copies will be available directly from us in person and via dm, or from the illustrious Minnesota-based label @gathering.wool . This project is the culmination of a year of live performances and endless time spent locked in our tower. Many thanks to @vinegar__tom for mixing/mastering, @dh.porter for opening up his studio to us, and @austinmarts for giving us the push to complete this tape.

Minnesota based environmental noise themed around the long term desecration of the protected wilderness area boarding Minnesota and Canada. Distorted tape loops, field recordings, and wood abuse.
askSERPENT - Acts of Devotion C50
A newer project out of Minneapolis that I fell in love with last Fall. Beautifully composed dark ambient/noise — tense and moving. A massive collage of samples, field recordings, ritualistic ambient drones, and piercing noise. Best experienced and not described honestly.

Cassette shells are made from 100% recycled plastics. J cards are xeroxed on rice paper which is a highly sustainable paper with a very nice hand-feel.
