this past month (or however long it has been) has been awful, I can't remember the last time I felt like my fully-functional self. to anyone who doesn't live here, I pray you never have to experience a similar occupation in your home. minnesota and the twin cities will live under the shadow of this time forever. I'm pretty sure people across the country and across the world see that we've been fighting like hell, personally I'm 0% surprised by the exceptional degree to which minnesotans are taking care of each other and standing up against tyranny. there are no visible leaders in the local resistance movement, just a lot of normal people with regular jobs who are disgusted and horrified.
in this video, we take you on a little ride around south minneapolis. I love this city, I always and I always will. you have to be truly dead inside to not appreciate minneapolis, I would almost feel bad for our enemies if they weren't so dangerous and hateful.
small actions add up, please do not ever forget that. the list of names of people that we are mourning constantly gets longer but we will never forget those who lost their lives and we will never stop fighting.
we're also going to post the single on bandcamp tomorrow, I don't necessarily expect to bring in any money but if we do, it will all be donated to emergency rent relief efforts.
