We’re beyond thrilled to share that Kandie will screen this October at @brooklynhorrorfest at the iconic @nitehawkcinema ! This film is so close to my heart, and I’m endlessly grateful to our incredible cast and crew who poured their souls into it. Having my narrative directorial debut screen at a festival that celebrates the genre I grew up obsessed with is a true dream come true. The little girl who used to stand outside Blockbuster fishing for horror movies her parents thought were too inappropriate is absolutely losing her mind!
I’ve long admired the filmmakers who’ve had their work showcased here, and to now stand alongside them is surreal and humbling.
Thank you to everyone who has cheered us on, and to our entire cast and crew—you poured your hearts and souls into Kandie, and I am forever indebted to you. See you in theaters on October 19th—more soon!🖤
