Every year I stubbornly ignore my lack of fitness and believe that I’m still the guy who ran @lidingoloppet 20 years ago, and somehow yet again I pulled it off - not fast, which was never the plan, but I did cross the finishing line exactly at the same time as a guy dressed in green playing the accordion and a xylophone which felt like a win in and of itself 😅

It’s funny how much you attribute to the specific shape of the hair on your head. Even if I’ve always had short hair I’ve never before taken it all down to 3 mm. It became more and more clear that as I’m approaching 50 (how?!?) I had to “take back control” and to be honest it feels really good!
On this day 6 years ago the very first Self Control was uploaded to Bandcamp after a long conversation with @therealredrackem about the value of running an independent label. Little did we know that 6 years later we would be planning the 25th release on the label.
SELFCONTROL001 was a straight up house roller that we think still stands the test of time.
