Wow… hard to believe this was 2 years ago! The Finding Rhythm music project was on stage with @realshortycorleone@rareessenceband and @futurebanddc leading the first citywide @dcps_arts youth go-go band in our single #soulbeatcnxn for the halftime show at @capitalcitygogo ! It was a dream come true to teach young musicians in ensembles across the District our kids’ go-go single, and to see them shine on the courtside stage, side by side with the GREATS of #dcgogo music. We continue to be grateful to @dcps_arts and @monumental_sports for partnering to make this happen and keep the history, culture and living tradition of #gogomusic alive. We were honored to be a part, thanks to the leadership of @dantepope , @ejbjazz and @drjessicagrowingbrains .
