We’re delighted to share that our @future__collaborations project has received a £25,000 donation from @sam_fender , which has been matched by @youthmusicuk to bring the total to £50,000! The donation comes from the £50,000 Sam raised through ticket sales on his People Watching tour, which he very generously pledged to grassroots music projects across the North East. We were chosen from a longlist of incredible projects in the region as the first recipient, and thanks to Sam and Youth Music’s support, Future Collaborations is now secured through to March 2029. That stability means we can continue offering free, inclusive music sessions for neurodivergent and neurotypical young people side by side, led by experienced industry professionals. Our Youth Music Lead, Ian Black, said: “Sam Fender's support means a huge amount to us and to the young people in the North East who deserve these opportunities.” “With a little bit of support, we've seen young people find confidence, find their voice and take real steps forward in music.” If you’d like to be part of Future Collaborations, or simply find out more, email [email protected] or click the link in our bio to fill out our expression of interest form. Thank you @sam_fender and thank you @bbcnews and @bbcneandcumbria for sharing our story! #YouthMusic #FutureCollaborations #InclusiveMusic #Neurodiversity #GrassrootsMusic #NorthEast #YoungMusicians

We couldn’t be happier to share this really special night of live music, and we’d love to see you there! This showcase is all about celebrating the talent of young neurodivergent and neurotypical musicians, sharing the stage together and doing what they love. For many of our young people and members, performing live on a real stage is a huge confidence boost - and for some, it’s something they never thought they’d be able to do. That’s what makes nights like this so important to us 💙 You’ll hear performances from the brilliant musicians involved in our Future Collaborations Project, as well as our very own house band, Garage Above. 📍 Location: Pop Recs Ltd 📅 Date: Thursday 27th February ⏰ Time: 7-9:30pm 🎟️ Free entry (please book a ticket via the link in our bio so we know numbers) We really want to make this a success for everyone involved, so please come along, support our musicians, and enjoy a great night of live music 🎶 None of this would be possible without our incredible funder, @youthmusicuk , whose support helps create opportunities like this for our young people 💙
