We’re delighted to share that our
@future__collaborations project has received a £25,000 donation from
@sam_fender , which has been matched by
@youthmusicuk to bring the total to £50,000!
The donation comes from the £50,000 Sam raised through ticket sales on his People Watching tour, which he very generously pledged to grassroots music projects across the North East.
We were chosen from a longlist of incredible projects in the region as the first recipient, and thanks to Sam and Youth Music’s support, Future Collaborations is now secured through to March 2029. That stability means we can continue offering free, inclusive music sessions for neurodivergent and neurotypical young people side by side, led by experienced industry professionals.
Our Youth Music Lead, Ian Black, said: “Sam Fender's support means a huge amount to us and to the young people in the North East who deserve these opportunities.”
“With a little bit of support, we've seen young people find confidence, find their voice and take real steps forward in music.”
