An amazing time to launch PEAKS now in production with @moooi during MOOOI’s 25 year anniversary!! They also printed giant portraits of the designers at 25yo! PEAKS brings adults, kids and everyone together by transforming for any situation: social, formal, play, watching a movie etc…and is now available indoor and outdoor, in multiple groupings including a lounge. Humanistic A.I. An amazing article in the @nytimes about our longstanding work with @elliqsidekick : “Other places are building the body of A.I. or, in some cases, the brain,. We’re building the heart” @dorskuler Our aging companion ElliQ has been given to aging folks as part of pilot programs in Washington, New York, New Jersey and Florida to folks who want to remain at home in their old age. “She makes me feel cared for. She makes me feel important.” These words from Jan, featured in a recent New York Times story, go to the heart of our mission. For seniors living independently, the quiet challenge of isolation can make aging in place difficult. Loneliness is a significant health priority that affects both physical and cognitive well-being. The article offers an intimate look at how Jan uses ElliQ to stay active and engaged. Their conversations go far beyond simple commands. They share morning coffee, discuss family, and talk through Jan’s favorite memories. ElliQ is a proactive companion that encourages Jan to participate in daily activities like chair yoga, mindfulness, and trivia to keep her mind sharp. By remembering the personal details of Jan’s life, ElliQ ensures that living on one’s own doesn’t mean living in silence. At fuseproject, our work in AI and robotics always begins with these specific human needs. We have had the privilege of designing all three generations of ElliQ. This decade-long partnership with Intuition Robotics allows us to refine the experience alongside the people who use it every day, ensuring the technology remains a comforting, intuitive presence. It is a point of quiet pride for our team to see this design reaching those who need it most. Whether it’s a last minute tree run, or a last beach session to catch waves, the fusers in San Francisco and Lisbon are wishing you a beautiful and well designed holiday! 🌲 🏄 🎁💫❤️ 2025 was a year defined by the work, and by the extraordinary effort of our team at @fuseprojectsf , whose focus, rigor, and creativity went hand in hand with the partners who trusted us to imagine and build tomorrow today. We deepened our long-term collaboration with TELO Trucks, debuting MT1 pre-production vehicles and sharing the vision for a radically compact electric truck at Near Future Festival, Summit Detroit, Web Summit, and beyond. We launched the VOLTA collection with Laufen, rethinking the bathroom as a sculptural, architectural experience, and introduced the Rye Stool with Zanat - their first bent-wood piece. We also brought to market Montblanc’s first Digital Pen, V2 of the Cionic Neural Sleeve, and OpenSeed’s next-generation Iris Meditation Pod - a multisensory wellness solution for the workplace. Doma Home stepped into the spotlight with a Fast Company introduction, followed by the debut of the first intelligence layer for the home that embeds sensing directly into architectural surfaces, creating safer, more secure, and more elegant living spaces. We participated in conversations with Tishman Speyer, The World Around, and Columbia University. And the Sayl Chair for Herman Miller and XO Laptop were entered into the permanent collection at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. Most importantly it’s the people, the partners, and friends, the creatives we worked with this year that we want to thank and stay close to. Here is what our latest sensor technology does: - Doma WelcomeDrive™ – quiet, motorized opener hidden inside the door that opens the door automatically as one approaches, then securely closes it. - Embedded Security & Identity Sensors – advanced radar, motion, and facial recognition sensors detect movement and identity for effortless and secure access. That means adults with or without a phone, kids, are recognized by the door. - Architectural Integrity – Doma’s hardware and sensors are built invisibly into the door’s core, preserving the aesthetic integrity of wood, fiberglass, or metal finishes. - Any Style and hardware: Created in collaboration with the world’s most respected door and window manufacturers, our platform works within traditional, modern, and different material doors that our partners make. Doma Intelligent™ Windows will feature motorized opening and closing as well as electronic lock and unlock, air quality sensors (AQI, CO2), temperature modulation (for cross ventilation) and indoor/outdoor radar sensing to monitor a home’s occupancy and security. This approach positions Iris not only as a wellness technology but also as a design object—an intentional space that complements modern interiors. The freestanding pod integrates seamlessly into office spaces, offering a quiet retreat where employees can recharge throughout the day. Using sound, guided meditation, lighting, and aromatherapy, the Iris creates an atmosphere of stillness and renewal. The simplified recycled wood structure and efficient use of materials makes the Iris designed for minimal waste and ease of assembly.
