Yes people! Couple of exciting things to talk about…. I’m back in Sheffield tonight playing for @unity_underground_sheffield so very much looking forward to that! Big up Rach and Chuga every time, great event. @functionrecordsuk crew repping to the max. As well as this, the Rollin Deep EP by myself @stevedigital and @charlagreenuk (who are also playing tonight 😁) is out today on the Function bandcamp on vinyl and digital formats. I’ve always loved the full spectrum of jungle/DnB and you can see that in my recent output… after an EP of wonky minimal beats, the next one is a rugged roller heavily influenced by the ‘good old days’, and released on a label that’s been going it proper since day 1 - Function Records ✊🏻 I met Tim Clay and Rupture and I’ve really enjoyed working on some tunes together - Tim is all about the breaks and it’s nice for me to get back to writing tunes with the purest elements. We’ve been really happy to see DJ Storm playing this tune, a stamp of approval from a selector and tastemaker I have the upmost respect for. Thanks Jayne! This is a full collab EP and I’ve got a lot of love for the guys I’m sharing it with, JFlux & Section. You’ll be seeing tunes with all of us together sooner or later 👀 Finally, massive biggup to Steve Digital, he’s written some of the biggest tunes ever but is the most down-to-earth welcoming guy and I’m so happy to be releasing this music on Function.
