Minneapolis, you have my heart!!! @mspfilmsociety@themaincinema #MSPIFF45 was a damn dream!
We played to a sold-out theater, hosted a rowdy round of Lesbian Trailer Bingo, and got to experience the magic of a community that truly loves cinema. Shoutout to the WILD card pull beforehand.
To the MSPIFF crew: thank you for being so world-class. Hearing such kind feedback from the folks who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make this happen was the ultimate “pinch-me” moment. I’m walking away feeling incredibly lucky to do this work.
Between myself and Moll (DP/Producer), our sweethearts, Bri and Alicia, along with Amy and Luzzo (Producers), Louisa (Post Producer), my parents, and two doggos in tow, we had quite the glorious menagerie in attendance.
A massive shoutout to the rest of the Nervous Laughter block. It was a privilege to share the screen with such sharp, funny, and evocative films.
