Some absolutely cracking captures from four amazing amateur photographers who have entered a range of the EPA's categories, including Cultural Events, Sporting Events, Portraits and Behind the Scenes.
Amateur entrants are judged alongside professionals in the Event Photography Awards – and on plenty of occasions have come out on top!
There is also a separate Best Amateur trophy which is judged across all the core categories – much like the Best Portfolio award. There is invariably quite a lengthy shortlist of potential winners, which means there’s a good number of non-pros at the prestigious EPA awards event, as every short-listed entrant gets an invitation from the competition founders, Off To Work – ie a complimentary ticket...
