Today I spoke with the farmer whose sheep and cattle graze the land between Owston and Burrough. He highlighted the importance of keeping litter to the side of the track—not throwing it over hedgerows—as plastic bottles, gel wrappers, and foil can harm his animals or lead to costly vet bills. The CiCLE Classic has run for over 20 years; please keep litter in your pocket or use the green zone responsibly.

You can call it a race if you want, or not and just ‘beat the course’.
The race starts at 11:30am, the aim is to beat the course and race for 3hrs PLUS one lap.
Over £2000 in prize money.

61st Three Peaks Cyclo-cross
Registration opens on Sunday 1st June.
Race Day - Sunday 28th September.
The 3 Peaks Cyclo-Cross is staged in the Yorkshire Dales National Park every year at the end of September. It is the toughest and biggest Cyclo-Cross event in the UK!
What else can be said? Great spectacle. Unique event – well worth a visit even if you don’t take part!

The 61st Three Peaks Cyclo-cross is maintaining an entry fee of £90.00 for competitors aged over 23 years old.
To encourage the participation of younger competitors. aged under 18 and 23 years old, their entry fee will be £50.00.
The reduction in entry fee is facilitated by Rideforcharlie and any potential sponsors of the event.

Junior BC Licence holders upwards, plus admin fee. Non-British Cycling members will be required to pay for a day licence (£3).
Marston Lodge course is a mix of grassland, stone tracks and woodlands, one lap will be between 6 to 8km. The terrain and setting are exceptional!

A BUNCH OF OTHER INFO FOR THOSE WHO WANT MORE DETAILS
Bikes: You can ride just about any bike. We don't care. Just leave the motor at home. Most people ride cyclocross or gravel bikes with 700x33mm tires or larger. Mountain bikes are totally fine.
BC Membership: This event is held under British Cycling Rules. If you are not a member… don't worry. For the price of a pint you can take out a day licence.
Helmets: Wear a helmet at all times.
Pre-riding: We encourage you to pre-ride the course! The course will be open from 9:30am
Sign On: Our friendly volunteers will be in position from 9am
Chips and numbers: We aren't talking Doritos, we are talking about timing chips. D3Racetec will be issuing ankle timing chips that placed on your left ankle - OVER YOUR SOCK. Pin your race number onto your left side back. Always the left.
Results: Results will be available from D3Racetec.
Start: It will be a mass start.
Neutral support & pits: You can keep a spare bike, spare wheels or fuel here. If you have an issue with your bike, you can only progress forward to the pits (no running upstream). People can help you get your bike working again in the pits or anywhere on the course if you have a problem.
Sail Flags & Tents: Teams are welcome to set up tents along the
