🎶 🐸 🐚 👻 Quai des Brumes (4481 Saint-Denis, Montréal) Portes 21h00 | Show: 21h30 (fin avant minuit) ______________ ______________ Fili 周 Gibbons (nous / ielles) sont musicien·nes et ingénieur·es du son d'ascendance mixte chinoise et canadienne basé·es à Tiohtià:ke/Montréal. Leurs pratiques artistiques constituent une synthèse du jeu du violoncelle, de la création sonore, du travail du corps et des pratiques de connaissances ancestrales – en les combinant pour tisser des tapisseries sensorielles de la mémoire et du corps. Ielles ont été invité·es à réaliser plusieurs performances interdisciplinaires (Festival Accès Asie/OBORO, PHI Centre, ISO Mexico, International Institute for Critical Studies of Improvisation), et collaborent fréquemment avec d'autres artistes pour des productions audio (Yaya Diallo, Géraldine Eguiluz, Michael Kim-Sheng, Rajni Shah), des enregistrements pour violoncelle (Devon Bate, Jeremy Dutcher), et des créations sonores pour des expériences 3D/RV (World Creation Studio, Marie LeBlanc Flanagan). Ielles ont créé la compagnie audiovisuelle Studio Apothicaire en 2018, et continuent d'explorer une pratique de production sonore centrée sur l'humain à travers un mélange d'enregistrements professionnels, d'accompagnement d'artistes, et d'ateliers communautaires. This Wednesday evening we’ll be performing at @anteism_books as part of @faemontreal . Excited to share the space with the work of @kolemulen @ooopze and Ujarak Appadoo. The space will be open from 3 to 10pm with our performance starting at 9pm. • fuit.es has been under construction for over four years now and we’re still not quite sure what it’s supposed to do.
