✸ first drawing of 2026 ~ when I was a little girl, I had an old needlepoint that hung in my bedroom of a hunter and hounds and horn like this. I used to study it so intently, and it wasn’t until years later that I remembered it and tried to recall how exactly it looked. so I drew this, which I’m sure it looked nothing like.

I’ve been busy making a lot of things for a lot of neat people lately that I’m not able to share just yet — and for the ones I am, I have been terrible about posting since settling into my eccentric coastal artist vintage trailer community life where everything’s either old, slow, or out of service (or all three). But I’m here and still making stuff.

Very limited test run of giclee prints on nice somerset velvet paper will be available in the shop later today.
Just got back from a lovely time away in Kentucky with my dear @acid_casually and his lovely family. Anytime I’m away from making stuff for longer than about three days I get so rusty. Happy these showed up when they did to help get me excited again. Looking forward to moving into an earthier palette as well now that the days are turning more gray ☁️
