Over the next few weeks we will be shining a light on the great people and businesses that keep this team on the road.
And with Parkway Mercedes based in Bristol this is definitely the case.
Any team car is an expensive Run and when we first saw the original Mercedes team car that was a huge concern.
Thankfully Ben from Parkway loved the idea of being involved and able to support the team to build and keep providing opportunities to the riders.
Super impressed with the achievements of the riders and ambition we had as a team, Ben and his team at Parkway have been a huge support , going above and beyond on to many occasions to mention.
Our original car sadly met its end this year , after some crazy adventures, driving through Spain , France , Belgium , racing through the countryside in Ireland at the Ras and the length of the UK.
A super stressful time trying to find a replacement in short time was made easier by the team at Parkway again offering continued support to keep us on the road.
The adventures have already started with the new car, we introduced it to Cicle and the saltburn bank, and enjoyed the time in the break at Lincoln.
So many new adventures and stories to write in 2026 and beyond.
Worth checking the guys out at they do more than just Mercedes.
Thank you again to one part of a village that it takes to keep this team moving and supporting this super talented group of riders.

Welcome Charlotte Deykin to FTP racing
@cdeykin is a perfect fit for the team as we look to keep that strength and depth through the team over the season.
Charlotte said on joining the team
“I have followed FTP over the last couple of years and have been impressed by the work they have done to build an inclusive and supportive environment for their riders. At every race, the team has always been approachable and welcoming, even before I became part of the team. They have also shown they are capable of competing strongly within the peloton.
I’m looking forward to working with the team for the remainder of the season and having a role within the team/race, while continuing to develop my race craft, and while enjoying the racing along the way”.

What a weekend
What a team
@lincolngrandprix is the big one for the season for most teams and riders, the setting is stunning the crowds are out in force and everyone turns up looking to perform.
With 24 UCI continental on the start sheet to name just a few it’s always a tough tough ask for the smaller teams to get in on the action, but we are determined not to just make up the numbers and prove we deserve to be there and be noticed.
There was nervous energy in the team car at the start line but they where positive nerves and excitement for what this group of super talents riders can achieve.
So many huge wins over the team from the results on paper to lessons learnt that build us into the upcoming races, riders getting their best national A finish to hitting process goals of positioning, it was a weekend to look at and remember why we put so much work into this team.
With @rubyoakess in a break of 3 up the road the rest of the team settled into the select groups across the circuit,holding position and moving up through the groups.
A few split groups over the road and a large peloton finish.

We left 3rd place team on the day and move upto 6th place team overall.
With Ruby 2nd under 23 and Phoebe 6th overall in that competition and Ruby moving upto 7th overall in the national Standings.

Big steps forward
Bringing young riders into the team gives us a great opportunity to support their development in a safe supporting environment, allow them to learn to back themselves and know they have the team behind them.
This task was given to @kayla.dinnin and @carys_b36 on Sunday , at a Nat A it can be a case of hanging in there against UCI teams and full time riders , but we want these riders to be brave and believe they can and deserve to be there.
How ? Give them the task to go all in from Km0 , why ? , it takes away the pressure of positioning , you know you have to be right at the front , it takes away the worry about being dropped from a race because you know its job done for the day so it’s full pressure off , it gets you confident at being at the front of a race and mixing with the key riders.
There was other benefits within the bigger team picture , but overall both riders got a lot from it and a lot of confidence.
There’s enough pressure in the sport , and both riders left the race with confidence to be more present in the race and believe they can be in those positions.
Yes it got shut down as we expected and yes they blew up , but they learnt a lot as well so nothing but wins on the day.
