Banbury Star Cyclists’ Club remodelled its signature road race around the Edge Hill climb’s first summit finish, and the Loughborough Lightning rider used it decisively, distancing Amy Henchoz on the final ascent to win round two of the British Team Cup.
Henchoz took second for Paralloy RT, with Jennifer Powell (Performance Development Team) third after a mechanical forced her into a lone chase on the final lap.
A selective race, a new finale, and another strong weekend for Loughborough Lightning at the top of the Team Cup standings.

Round two of the British Women’s Team Cup takes the peloton to north Oxfordshire this weekend for the Banbury Star Road Race.
For 2026, there is a significant change: the race will finish, for the first time, at the top of The Knowle at Edge Hill — the short, steep climb that has long defined the event.
