《Dear Us Who Lived in the Present》
brooch
silver, enamel
Through countless conversations with my peers.
I received many seeds of strength to live resiliently.
I have woven these realizations into ocean scapes of eternal yet instantaneous movement.
It mirrors us, constantly tossed and turned by the shifting currents of society.
I created this series in the hope that these words will provide unwavering support in your daily lives.
This work is one example of that.
《Thanks to...》
Never forget that you are supported by the environment and people around you.
Like coral reefs and swaying seaweed,
we all support each other and exist in a delicate balance.

Where the Heart Is
Brooch
Silver, Nickel silver, Copper, Brass
The heart is a restless landscape, constantly swaying with emotion.
Yet deep within, there lies a serene, unchanging beauty.
By intertwining blooming flowers with protective leaves, this piece captures the way we embrace our inner fluctuations whilesafeguarding our core essence.
The creative process begins with hand-drawn sketches that deform and abstract botanical forms.
These drawings are then translated into precise outlines using CAD software to develop a three-dimensional design. Based on this digital blueprint, the final form is meticulously realized through traditional hand fabrication.
The rotating structure of the components symbolizes the gentle movement of swaying plants. Through subtle motion and delicate sounds against the chest, the piece is intended to draw the wearer out of a “vortex of thoughts,” gently refocusing their awareness on the reality of the present moment.

Preservation Bottle : Bone

Preservation Bottle : Stone
Necklace
Silver, bottle, rutile-in-scapolite
All parts used in this work were collected by me in Japan.
The bottles were purchased at antique shops in Shimokitazawa and
hand fabrication.
are estimated to be 50 to 100 years old. The bones were bought at
a museum festival held at Tokyo Big Sight, and the loose stones
were acquired at gem fairs. The hair used in the work is my own,
given to me by a hair salon.
When my exhibition in Munich was decided, I wanted to share
what I had remembered and carried from Japan. The objects
I selected cross the sea, are touched and worn by people of different
nationalities, and are taken somewhere new.
My practice explores the texture of sensations gained through real
experiences, known in neuroscience as qualia. In this work,
I attempt to share these sensations in a form that can be held.
Materials such as bones and hair may appear strange or talismanic,
but I am drawn to antiques and find mystery in mourning jewelry. I take joy in passing on the histories and processes of old objects to
silver,platinam,enamel
the next stage.
Please reflect on the origins of these materials from Japan.

The borderline between life and death
Brooch
silver 925, iron
Using the contrasting material qualities of silver and iron, the artist
interprets the relationship between materials from a personal
perspective, as well as the impressions and implications they convey.
The forms of the works are composed through a combination of organic natural elements and inorganic, man-made geometric structures.
The orchid motif carved in silver represents the artist‘s pure, immaculate, and timeless spiritual realm, while the rusted iron components symbolize the passage of time and the impermanence of life within the material world.
Through the visual dissonance between order and nature, the works explore the tension and coexistence between ideal and reality, body and spirit, as human beings navigate the overlapping identities of their natural existence and social roles.

《The shape of emotion—Indissoluble》

”The Shape of Emotion“ captures the essence of healing by enveloping our inner landscapes. In this work, I perceive the silver thread as a spiritual medium-a bridge connecting my contemplation to my creations. Through the repetitive acts of wrapping, stitching, and weaving, I translate traces of emotion into a sculptural language. As these thin lines are layered and accumulated, they create a profound resonance that reflects the depth of human feeling. Inspired by my mother‘s nostalgic lace, this collection reconstructs memories into wearable art, symbolizing the act of nurturing and protecting our inner selves. Each piece is meticulously hand-wound, thread by thread. Beyond mere decoration, the texture reflects the deep care woven into the work, offering a poetic expression and a sense of profound serenity that speaks to the heart.
@ryo__inkyo My work originates from sensory comfort found in nature. While walking through Meiji Jingu Gyoen, I was repeatedly drawn to a towering tree. Its cracked bark revealed a contrast between a hardened surface and fragile inner core. Moss and ants formed a miniature world, and its cool, rough texture brought a deep sense of calm.

The shape of absence
Brooch
iron, silver, silver-plated
By integrating formal languages of the tangible and the intangible, the solid and the fragile, the work reflects on the nature of existence. It focuses on the relationship between light and space, exploring the perceptions and emotions evoked by fleeting visual transformations. Iron, silver, and other metals are primarily employed, combined with traditional iron patination techniques. Guided by the notions of ”presence and absence“ and ”form and shadow,“ the work seeks to encourage viewers to shift their perspective and reconsider the fragile and ephemeral aspects of life.

@myukumasaka
Along with Ocean is a series that explores the ocean as a metaphor for human life, reflecting themes of time, memory, and impermanence. The sea, constantly shifting between light and darkness, calmness and movement, mirrors the instability and continuity of human existence. Through this imagery, the work reflects on personal memories and experiences shared across time. Working primarily with aluminium, I use traditional Japanese engraving techniques to carve lines into the surface of the material. The act of engraving becomes a way of recording time, where each mark represents a moment or emotional trace. The ocean in this series does not refer to a specific place, but to an inner landscape shaped by individual memories. By preserving these traces within metal, the works aim to create a quiet space where viewers can reflect on their own memories and sense of time.

Exhibiting artist @_mari_kobayashi
By ”adorning“ the things in our surroundings, we can discover new, previously unseen values in the everyday objects we encounter.
The motif is ”adorned“ with original plant-based patterns, such as arabesque designs. These patterns are intricately crafted using the cloisonné technique, employing fine lines and delicate foil made of pure gold and platinum. By intentionally leaving parts of the patterns unpolished and incorporating a mist-like effect, the design exudes an air of elegance and transience, appearing almost as if it belongs to an ethereal realm beyond reality.
