Studio High Gloss returns with the HOME COLLECTION—an ongoing series by Natalie Herrera that explores the space between sculpture, design, and function. Conceived in her home studio just outside Saratoga Springs, NY, the work draws from the textures of domestic life: rough-sawn timber, local flora, and the rhythm of everyday use. The most recent collection centers on lighting—candle sconces and table lamps that hold both bulb and flame. After a reflective hiatus, Herrera brings a renewed perspective to her practice, blending folk forms, brutalist influence, and meditative detail into objects that feel both grounded and spirited.
Studio update: Excited to share that I’ve signed a lease on a studio space near my home in Saratoga Springs. Happy to be working through new projects again…

This home has more than 80 outlets and originally only 7 hardwired lights. Have been getting creative with lighting without piping conduit everywhere.
