And with that we close our first ever
FRINGE ARTS WOLVES
What an inspiring weekend full of creativity from Wolverhampton and black country artists.
A massive thank you to everyone who showed work, ran events, new venues that hadn't shown art exhibitions before trusting in us. It's been a true example of what can be achieved working together.
We believe that community collaboration and showcasing the resources we already have is key to a thriving city, which is why we used non art spaces in existing beautiful architectural gems and asked existing groups and collectives to do what they are doing already.
Next year we will be thinking bigger and we can't wait to expand on this fantastic start.
We will share official photography soon aswell as a special invitation to movers, shakers and creative venues soon.... But for now here's a great snippet of the lantern parade by our designer @luke81292
Sound commission over the video is @kupidval
This fringe was made possible with support from #uksharedprosperityfund and #enjoywolverhampton
Project managed and produced by Asylum Artist Quarter CIC and Gatis Community Space
Designs and lighting from WormHole designs and David Checkley
Curatorial support from Corin Salter
