♡ Recently we were invited in to @frenchiebroughton and started off with a glass of fizz while we perused the menu 🥂
♡ Cocktail-wise I started with the Hot Chica from their margarita section ofc (cause i'm a spicy gal)🌶️ tequila, lime, sugar, chilli & tajin, with tabasco on the side which was perfect for me to make it as spicy as I wanted!
♡ I then asked for a recommendation and was told I should try the Frenchie, which is floral gin, champagne and lemon gel which felt v cute and fancy ✨
♡ @essentially_ems went rogue/off menu and asked for a surprise non-alcoholic cocktail and the staff were so accommodating!! Our server asked what flavours she liked and just created something for her
♡ Okay now onto food - our starters were great! We shared the haggis bonbons with carrot & star anise purée and the tempura prawns with wasabi mayo, honey & chilli 👌 we demolished these
♡ We did decide to have our own mains & sides each. I went for the scotch beef fillet with rocket, parmesan, red wine jus and basil oil with a side of a vichy carrots whereas Ems went for a fresh halloumi and tabouleh salad with a side of chunky hand cut chips
♡ My dessert was another cocktail because I was intrigued by the Bounty Espresso Martini (coconut rum, white choc, coffee 🤤 very good!!) while Ems kept it classic with ice cream
♡ Super cute spot, great service and honestly such a fun menu to work your way through. I'll definitely be back! Super close to the Playhouse too so perfect for a boujie pre theatre meal
