NEM, Leith Walk🍜 AD invite. . Our first time at @nem.edinb and it’s was delicious!😍 after walking past many times, we finally popped in! Firstly, for it being quite hidden away, it was packed! There were so many reservations and people were getting turned away at the door - such a good sign! But felt bad for those who didn’t get a seat🤪 the decoration is beautiful (swipe along to see for yourself!) and it felt very authentic! The food was served so quickly and the staff were very kind and attentive with all the customers which was lovely to see!✨. . To start, drinks!! I decided to give my normal Diet Coke a miss, and tried the Kumquat and Salted Plum juice instead. I could have had a pint of this🤤 Peter ordered the Hanoi beer which started off the Friday feeelin’🍻 . For our food - we shared the Chicken Summer Rolls which were filled with rice, shredded lettuce, and homemade peanut sauce. V tasty! I ordered the Chicken Pho, and Peter had the Beef Pho, just can’t beat it. Also I got to practice my chop stick skills, which FYI are still terrible🥢. . To finish, we both ordered the Tiramisu Coffee which was incredible! Again, would have a pint of this if I could🤤. . The Alchemist🔮🍹✨ AD INVITE. . Eat Out Edinburgh is baaaaack in March with @edincitycentre and you can get a gorgeous meal at @thealchemistuk for either £20 for 2 courses or 3 courses for £25😏 what a bloody good deal if you ask me!🩷. . We popped along last week for 3 courses and a drink each! We started with crispy veg gyozas and panko halloumi sticks🥰 my faaaave!! For our mains I opted for the Chicken Burger with Korean spice, crispy onions, dill pickle and Alchemist sweet hot sauce! Peter had the Chicken Basket with fries, slaw and maple & bourbon BBQ sauce🍔 finally we shared some Churros and 3 scoops of ice cream🍧. . The drinks are always so impressive at The Alchemist!! I had the Eureka Moment, Peter had the Hard Peach Iced Tea and then we shared the Aperi-Zero Oysters✨ the ONLY time I’ll have oysters hehehe!! . 2025 vs 2026🌞✨ this time last year I was training for my first ever FULL MARATHON, and was just about to take part in the Inverness Half Marathon! I can’t believe that was a year ago, I can’t even comprehend that I used to just go out and run half marathons basically weekly on the run up to last May. What an absolute BEAST I was last year🤣🤣🤣. . 2026 is looking slightly different! I signed up for a half marathon this May also but very quickly pulled out of this as I realised I didn’t ✨actually✨ want to do it and the thought of it made me quite literally want to cry🥲 this year the focus has been more on strengthening and moving in a way that brings me joy, rather than stress on my body!😇 recently I’ve really been loving Pilates (both mat and reformer), and I started the year strong with my 5am gym workouts, however this has slipped slightly since February🥰 I’m looking forward to getting back into this in March🩷. . This year I’m still working with my lovely coach @glowbeyondcoaching while I take a slower approach over the next few months, moving my body in a more calm way than last year, prioritise nutrition and making better choices🩷🩷 February was a bit of a rocky month but I’m ready to get back into more of a routine🥰✨. . #lifestylecoaching #edinburghbloggers #edinburghfoodie #pilates #marathontraining

EXTREME DAY TRIP✈️ Geneva Edit🇨🇭🫕🍫 I had the best day on Friday on my first ever “Extreme Day Trip” to Geneva, Switzerland with some of my faves @eatyourbakes , @essentially_ems , @veggieburgh and @xenia.florentine . We bagged 6.25am flights out and 8.35pm flights home for £50.00 (thanks to lovely Lee) and we made the most of every minute. We started our day with a coffee from @labastidecafe to fuel our stroll around stunning Geneva Old Town. We then grabbed pastries from @boulangerielamiette including an epic chicken sausage pastry, sundried tomato and cheese pastry and a raspberry croissant. Next was a visit to Cathédrale Saint-Pierre where we climbed the very narrow and steep tower to get panoramic views of the city which was 100% worth the climb! Now food is never very far from our minds so a trip to one of the @laderach.official stores to purchase some delicious Swiss chocolate was a must. As well as a visit to food hall @hallederive which is packed with 23 different vendors selling gorgeous produce including cheese, cakes and fresh fruit and veg. A coffee from @greengorillacafe was just what we needed for a stroll to the iconic Jet d’Eau where a the fountain shoots water 140m in to the air where Lake Geneva meets the River Rhône. The sun was shining so joined the locals for a well earned rest enjoying the views and the vitamin D. We booked an early dinner at @lesarmures_restaurant where cheese was very much on the menu. We shared their famous Cheese Fondue along with plenty of bread, potatoes, salad and Raclette. Myself and @eatyourbakes also tried the snails which were delicious!!!! Our day ended with a little bit of shopping and a walk back through the city in the evening sunshine to catch the train back to the airport. The best day, with the best bunch of gals and I’d highly recommend Geneva for a day trip ❤️🇨🇭🫕🍫 #extremedaytrip #daytrip #geneva #visitgeneva #genevafood

After years of hearing about @bostockbakery , we finally went🙌🏼 it’s actually so pretty here, annoyed it’s taken us this long tbh! We both had a flat white, and we both shared the brownie and the carrot cake🤩 we then went back and bought a bagel and a croissant for the next day! BAO BUN WORKSHOP🥢. . We had the besssst afternoon at @takefiveedi last weekend for Peters birthday🤩 this was a 3hr workshop where you chose your design, make your dough from scratch, dye the dough, assemble it together, wait for it to be steamed, and ta-daaaa!🤪 4 sweet bao buns to take home😇 it was such a good afternoon and we even got to eat some bao buns while we waiting on ours proving🙌🏼. . This class cost £35pp which is so so worth it! Such a fun date activity, would recommend this to anyone at any age🥰 We chose 2 hard designs but we were so proud of them! EDINBURGH STREET FOOD🍔 ad invite. . On Tuesday, we stopped by @edinburgh_streetfood on our way home from work✨ ESF is basically our second home at this rate🤪 we starter off with a drink each, i had a Pepsi max (the best drink in the world) and Peter had a pint of Leith Juice! . For our mains I opted for @chixedinburgh ‘s Gie her a Haggis burger - a crispy fried chicken sandwich with haggis, smoked bacon, whisky mayo and leek slaw😇 it was delicious! Would definitely have this again! Peter ordered the Chicken Spice Bag from @gweilo.esf which was MASSIVE and looked incredible🤤 I’ve never had a spice bag before but this was tempting🙌🏼 we then shared Duck Spring Rolls - I didn’t end up eating much of these as I was so full from the burger😝. .
