A new film titled ‘Rave On’ is premiering on the 1st July at the Munich Film Festival, created by @viktorious____ and Nikias Chryssos — Viktor is the brilliant mind behind Apple TV’s hit series Krank (aka Berlin ER). Massive thanks to you Vik for choosing the track @faerberphone and I made as the title track. I can’t wait for you all to hear it and see it. Rave On dives deep into Berlin’s techno subculture — it’s highly entertaining and highly bonkers, starring huge talents like @aaronaltaras and @clemens_schick The story follows a struggling musician trying to break into the scene with messy and surreal consequences… which is very apt. The soundtrack is scored by the sublime duo of Ed Davenport and John Gürtler, featuring original music from a stellar lineup including @rhyw__ @hieroglyphicbeing @gulnarapetzold @ariel_me_llamo_aka_demian and many more. The official soundtrack is dropping on double vinyl via the legendary @freddyk3614 KEY Vinyl imprint too! ❤️‍🔥🚨 Big shout out to @faerberphone for having the patience to work on this with me too! A goldmine cinematic production,‘In Thy Domain‘ is a double LP concept album that transverses multiple genres—from ambient, broken-beat techno and experimental drone, with stark audible synergy, exposing the tipping points of human civilisation and the defining timelines that have shaped it. A glance through the double-fold album sleeve, accompanied by a single listen, reflects Fred’s in-depth research and elaborate thought processes, inducing a vivid, telepathic voyage along the artist’s vision. . Although the album releases in 2023, much to everyone’s surprise, the British artist originally premiered ‘In Thy Domain‘ with a brain-melting a/v live performance in Prague in October 2019, alongside Alessandro Cortini (@alehan ) for Dietl Archive x @polygonxyz . While Fred makes mysterious appearances in broken timelines, we caught up with the producer to uncover a few hidden perspectives. My first album ‘In Thy Domain’ is out today! To celebrate please join me at a special venue called ‘After’ this evening, in Kreuzberg, where we’ll play the full album on vinyl as it’s meant to be heard. Doors are at 7pm, and at 8pm the music begins. ‘After’ is a community space for critical listening, run by Yusuf Etiman and featuring 2 custom sound systems by Jürgen Pack, with acoustic treatment by @kissyourears  and lights by Joseph Bourgois. There are one or two spots still available so please DM if you would like to come. Thanks to everyone who has supported me so far and played the tracks on the radio, especially @tomravo who very sweetly played another track on the BBC radio recently 🙏🙏🙏 Links in the bio etc! My first single release ‘Horizon’ is out today on @counterchange_label 🍻 The full album ‘In Thy Domain’ is out on 02.06. It’s been a long time coming for sure. I’m so happy I want to shout it from the rooftops but I can’t find the way up. I’ll just have to resort to this I guess. Working with @inland_ed and @cee_taylor has been a dream.
