2nd remix of the release by UK artist Frederic. We first discovered him years ago through @gunfingerfood , back when he was releasing under his former alias Bobo, and we’re genuinely pleased to welcome him to the label.
For the record — quite literally — when we asked him for a remix, he actually delivered three different versions. All of them were excellent, and we ultimately selected this one for the vinyl release, with a second version included as a digital-only bonus on Bandcamp.
This remix drift in a break-oriented space where loops and rhythms rarely stay in place for long. Break chops flare up and then vanish, while restless hi-hats flicker around the edges, supporting soft, dreamy pads feeling like half-remembered dreams.
