Story time!
Freddy & I got engaged in Berlin on Museum Island bc museums have alwaysss felt special to us. We both think museums are the most magical places. They are timeless, thoughtful places where you can wander, learn, and get lost in stories.
When we discovered the @zeitzmocaa (Zeitz MOCAA) in Cape Town, it instantly felt connected to us. It’s the largest museum of contemporary African art in the world, & the space carries so much meaning & creativity. We loved it & I was SURE this was the wedding venue. But then, of course, I fell in love with a winery for the actual wedding day (very unexpected for me, but those views… I mean 😅).
Still, we wanted the museum to be part of our story somehow. So, in our over-the-top fashion, we rented it out for an hour before opening & took these photos there, just 6 days before the wedding. A little nod to where our story began, and a place we’ll always remember. A little piece of Berlin carried all the way to Cape Town. 🤍🩶🤎
