We're so stoked to finally present our creation for the @airushkiteboarding Session Hookipa campaign! With @oswald_smith , crafting this conceptual video was a thrilling journey blending the essence of "the fabled arts" into visuals. From his Japanese script and an epic performance and voice over from @chiwunsu , to showcasing the handcrafted katana forging process with @fish_face_francois . We produced parts of the soundtrack in FL Studio using the voice over and different synths with drum tracks. Thanks to everyone who were involved. Beautiful to some. Random shit to others. This one took a while🦥 I've seen so many creators using AI to make epic videos over the last couple months and wanted to learn how to use these new tools and integrate it into my film making. Not even knowing how to create these effects, @oswald_smith and I sat down a couple times sharing some crazy ideas for @mysticboarding upcoming OS 23 harness launch. With inspiration from a sick double exposure design by @sltystu , we decided to put it in a frame and try to make her face change by using #stablediffusion to accompany the moto. Beautiful to some. Random shit to others. Getting these effects right took weeks of experimentation and multiple programs. The zooming intro was inspired by the movie Limitless, stacking multiple images of the @haldanemartin chapel/gallery together to create an ultra high megapixel composition to mask and zoom into. A lot of it was cleaned up. The hallway and drapes were extended so the zoom effect would work. And even cars were removed from the front of the chapel. This video consists of every technique and format I have ever learnt. It might be random shit to you. But it's beautiful to me. We couldn't believe how they built 5 beautiful villages on the rugged coastal mountains with colourful houses centuries ago. And what an experience it was!🏎️ It's insane to see how they've managed to convert Greenpoint into such an epic/interesting track. Must be the coolest tent that's ever been built. And at the same time further away from everything else. @wolwehoekreserve hosts their Leopard's Kloof luxury camp nestled in the beautiful mountains just outside Montagu about 2.5 hours from Cape Town. But don't take your polo😂 4x4 is a must! While being so remote, the attention to detail they have put into this experience really does take you into a different world when you spend a couple days here. No internet, no electricity. Looking back at the times running around @campwinadu being trusted with our cameras and imagination.
