On Thursday, November 27th the @juedischesmuseumberlin opened its exhibition “Claude Lanzmann. The Records”, for which iart carried out the technical implementation. The exhibition uses the iart AX audio system, which plays spatially localized content without physical contact. Through the Smart Audio Guide, the audio signals can be experienced binaurally from different directions—depending on the visitors’ position and head orientation. At the video stations, the interviews can be heard in their original languages while German and English transcriptions run synchronously on the screens. The exhibition presents twelve interview excerpts from the Claude Lanzmann Archive, an interview with Corina Coulmas and Irene Steinfeldt-Levy, as well as various soundscapes in the connecting spaces. Last week the Media Architecture Biennale took place in Bangkok, so we are looking back at the M+ project, which won the MAB Award in 2023! For the @mplusmuseum in Hong Kong, iart has developed a city-scale media facade in collaboration with the architects @herzogdemeuron . The LED installation overlooks the famous Victoria Harbour, engaging the museum in visual dialogue with Hong Kong's dynamic skyline, which features both specially developed works and art from the collection. The Media Architecture Biennale 2025 took place in Bangkok from November 18 to 23. #mplusmuseum #iart #HdM #mediaarchitecture #mediafacade #facade #led #ledfacade #architecture #innovation #future #museum #art #skyline #hongkong #victoriaharbour #visual #dynamic

As part of this year’s Media Architecture Biennale in Bangkok, we look back on the zero-energy media facade project—the Novartis Pavilion in Basel—which won the MAB Award in 2021. The exhibition pavilion on the Novartis Campus is enveloped in a media facade comprised of organic photovoltaics. The double-sided embedded LEDs display specially curated digital art and consume only the electricity generated by the facade itself. The building, designed by architect Michele de Lucchi, is located directly on the Rhine, and as a public space serves as a point of encounter between the company, the population and the campus. The Media Architecture Biennale 2025 kicked off in Bangkok this Tuesday and runs until November 23. #Novartis #NovartisPavilion #2021 #iart #Basel #MediaFacade #Architecture #MediaArchitecture #Experience #Design #LightDesign #LED #art #exhibition #sustainable #photovoltaic #day #night #building #innovation #technology #solution #zeroenergy
