In 2020 I published the book Farmers with @hartmann_projects on occasion of the show « Contadini e Paesani » curated by Jean Paul Deridder @jp_imagebeeld at the @fondationastichting in Brussels. Their practice is rooted in careful observation and conceptual engagement with their subjects, focusing on overlooked yet socially and culturally significant themes. The works reflect a shared interest in the relationship between landscape and interior spaces, revealing traces of human presence and history. Participating artists include Laurenz Berges @laurenzberges , Alessandra Dragoni, Marcello Galvani, Guido Guidi, Francesco Neri @francesconeri___ , Jem Southam @jemsoutham , Gerry Johansson @gerryjohansson , Mark Ruwedel @markruwedel , and John Spinks @john_spinks Several artists will attend the opening and present their work in person.
