I'm Louis Washington, I'm a Self-taught Photographer from South Jersey. I've been serious about photography since 2020 and I specialize in street photography. I enjoy moody and dark scenes that could be used and movie stills. My ultimate goal is to have one or some of my photos in the MoMA.

My photography is evocative. In my images, I play with the duality between
the organic and the supernatural. I constantly seek the sacred within the mundane,
transforming simple elements—a horse, water, undergrowth—into something mystical
through the use of blinding light and sharp contrast.

From the artist:
Alex Stevenson (they/them) is an artist, photographer, and poet living and working in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They studied at the University of the Arts and received their BFA in photography from Moore College of Art and Design, where they now serve on the Moore College Board of Managers. Their artistic practice blends a unique interdisciplinary approach to explore gender, ecology, and familial connections. Their new curatorial practice seeks to shine a light on underrepresented artists and mediums, especially queer and bipoc artists, while teasing out conceptual mirrors to society through striking and layered imagery.

Life/the world have been a little hectic and chaotic and overwhelming lately, to say the least (not all in bad ways though). Through it all, I’m so grateful for the community of artists and friends I’ve begun building through creating @frameslashsequence
