Around 4 years old, Moana is the definition of sweet and soulful. She lives for cuddles, cozy downtime, and being close to her people. Calm and affectionate, she’s happiest curled up beside you — but when playtime calls, she’s more than ready to join in 🎾✨
After being found wandering the streets, Moana was brought to ACCTPhilly, where she battled a doggy cold and spent time recovering in isolation. Now, she’s thriving in foster care and ready to find the forever home she deserves 🏡

Meet Moana, affectionately known as Mo Mo, a 4-year-old mixed breed currently in foster through @acctphilly in Philadelphia, PA.
Originally found wandering the streets as a stray, Moana has come so far in such a short time. She’s a sweet, soulful girl who absolutely loves cuddles and relaxing with her people.
Moana does well with other dogs given slow, proper introductions, but would ultimately prefer to be the only pet in her forever home.
She’s calm and laidback, but don’t let that fool you. She can absolutely keep up during playtime when the mood strikes! Moana doesn’t need much, just someone to finally choose her and give her the love she’s gone far too long without.

Sweet Mike is now considered urgent and is timestamped for Sunday, June 29th at 10am at no fault of his own. The shelter has been at an all time high with intakes and there is no room to fit all of these pups safely. We need the help of our community to spread the word so we can get this gentle boy out of the shelter and into his forever home or even a foster. He doesn’t deserve a short life simply because of space. Please share in hopes that this comes across someone who can open their heart and home to him.
PS: to all of my fellow volunteer and staff friends at ACCT, I promise I did have my gown on prior to this impromptu video/snuggle session and he was the last dog I was with for the day. #safetyfirst 😷
Daisy is the sweetest thing! When I first met her, she was a little jumping bean in her kennel - so excited to come out.
Outside, Daisy is very polite and well behaved. She walks well on a leash and checks in with her handler.
She takes treats nicely and even sits for them. She remained calm around other dogs when we were outside and allowed pets all over.
When Daisy first arrived she was pretty timid and scared so it’s heartwarming to see she’s opened up so much!
ACCT is over capacity and every dog that finds a safe exit from the shelter makes room for another one to have a chance.

Reposting because I made the silly mistake of calling Manchas a boy when infact, she is a girl! I hope by tugging at some heart strings, this helps Manchas adopted and she forgives me for calling her a boy.

Manchas is a sweet and gentle 8 year old girl who came into the shelter as a donor surrender because they could no longer afford to take care of her. I can only imagine how confused, scared and lonely she must feel after spending 8 years in a loving home. Despite this unfortunate circumstance, she is still trying her best to be brave. She’s one of the best loose leash walkers I have ever met, takes treats so nicely and even knows the commands “sit” and “paw”. Ontop of landing in the shelter, she is now timestamped for sunday, june 22nd at 10am due to no fault of his own. The shelter is at the most max capacity I have ever seen and they are just going by length of stay. If you are unable to foster or adopt, please share this post in hopes it finds Manchas the forever home she deserves.

fun loving, adorable Harry is timestamped for tomorrow, 6/18 at 10am. He needs to be adopted, fostered or saved by a rescue or he’ll be crossing the rainbow bridge. Please don’t let his story end here. He deserves so much more.
