Broadstairs 2.0 🍊 ☕️ Yesterday we opened the doors to our new site over in Broadstairs! We’ve got a whole new food menu featuring some absolute bangers💥. Christmas has come early here at Forts, in the form of coffee of course!! ☕️ Last year we brought you Guestyboi, this year we bring you GUESTYBOI V2!! It’s not technically a Christmas coffee but it’ll make you feel nice and warm inside 🤗 Roasted by our pals @elsewhere_coffee this is a natural/anaerobic blend from Ethiopia and Mexico 🇪🇹 🇲🇽 Tastes like melon, caramel and honeysuckle, basically it’s bloody delicious and we’re very excited to get it on. On from today as guest espresso and tasting flights at both shops 🫡 Bags to go for that perfect stocking filler 🧦

Hello Margate! The time has finally come for a special Forts Coffee Tasting, you want it, we want it, here it is! Hosted by your head baristas, Jess & Bianca, it’s gonna be a fun one! Let’s be honest, coffee jargon can be a little bit excessive and intense; we are here to dismantle all that together and show you how fun and exciting a cup of coffee can be. The afternoon is focused on processing; how coffees are processed after harvest and how new techniques are developing. We’ll delve deep into what it all means and how different processes influence flavour all with some incredible coffees from some of our favourite roasters. It doesn’t matter whether you like fruity coffee, chocolatey, nutty, floral, zesty or whatever. No doubt you will find something you love and walk away with some invaluable knowledge about coffee… or just walk away extremely caffeinated. It’s going to be a fun and engaging afternoon trying some incredible coffees and understanding what the many varieties of processing does to the bean in your cup. Don’t stress if you don’t know much about coffee or you already know loads, this is an opportunity for everyone to try some great coffee, chat and have a bit of fun, and beers at the end!
