From last night’s PTTP session. Had to add some tape to that penultimate exclamation point to get it to type high. It wasn’t emphatic enough without it.
Today at 2:00 pm I read an excerpt from One River. I read to our sod, to our blades of grass, the passage that describes a human experience of the Darien Gap. The Reading Room has two more scheduled events as part of the Biennial of the Americas. Check them out at the QR code in the third image. Today at 5:30 pm I’ll be at The Reading Room for The Biennial of the Americas. I will read an excerpt from the Prologue to The Invention of Nature by Andrea Wulf. It is an heroic biography of Alexander Von Humboldt. The only remaining physical copy I could find in Denver last month I gave to my cousin for his birthday.
Today at our Reading Room for the Biennial of the Americas I read to the sod an excerpt from One Hundred Years of Solitude. I read from both the original Spanish and the English translation. The thick description of the landscape around Macondo, the fictional village, was already on my reading list for this event. It rose in my priority when I saw the novel had been banned last week during one of our News Hours. I videotaped my reading. I’ll share that on another platform.
Tonight’s #PTTP edition at @shopatmatter with @formyard.studio and @rickgriffith and a gang of guests we named after Rick. We added a second color midway through the night so the edition was ~20 prints.
