Come take a stroll around SOURCE MATERIAL…
…where six artists explore nature as a living archive.
Through sculpture, painting, collage, and printmaking, they engage with materials and processes to arrive at deeper truths.
Each work traces a journey of transformation, capturing the subtle interplay between creation and resolution, and archiving the delicate passage from raw material to refined form. Together, the pieces invite reflection on the ways we observe, record, and reimagine the natural world, finding beauty and meaning in both process and outcome. This group exhibition features the work of @3felts@meagensvendsen@katiekphotoart@jblairvg@melanie.grein & @comberbrian
The gallery is free and open to the public Tues-Sat, 11AM-5PM.

"When I look at the sky, I think about how perhaps it is one of the only things we see in our daily lives that looks similar to what our ancestors saw.
Then I remember: contrails, smog, satellites, airplanes, and shifted weather patterns due to climate change. This series tackles the dissonance I feel: clouds are so beautiful and delicate, yet at the same time, deeply powerful. Even so, humanity changed how even the movement of clouds functions on our planet. I imagined how we can work to heal the changes we’ve wrought as I made these pieces. They’re examining a deeply troubling phenomenon yes, but also: we have the power to change it."
