A perfect example of natural tree fusion🤯✨
🪢This is called inosculation a rare but natural process where two trunks or a branch and a trunk grow together as their cambium layers make contact eventually sharing vascular tissue and functioning as one organism.
In this case a limb has pressed into a neighboring trunk over time and fully fused creating a single flowing structure captured beautifully in Amherst Massachusetts.
