On Sunday May 24th, @arnaudppoetry will be hosting a poetry and music fundraiser for the charity Agissons Ensembles at the Orange Room! Expect an evening of games, poetry and music for the culture and by the culture.
The For Congo Collective is a collective that cares primarily about Congo, both the Republic of Congo and the Democratic Republic of Congo. This event is an event aimed at using every single one of our artistic gifts to tell the truth and amplify the Congolese and wider African culture.

‘For Congo’ Round 4: A poetry and music fundraiser event for @letsacttogetherforcongo to supply disadvantaged children and family with urgent medical equipment in eastern Congo.
Think of this as your pre-world cup party, your cultural bank holiday weekend motive, your way of helping kids displaced in their own country by another country who went to through the same stuff 3 decades ago.
And yes, this is more than poetry, it is more than clicking your fingers, it’s an introduction to the culture if you don’t already know it, it’s us doing what we do best for a cause that concerns not only just us but the world.
