Big love to everyone who showed up and showed OUT for our FocoMX takeover at FCMoD 🔥   We packed the museum with 4 stages of emerging artists, transforming every corner into a live, breathing celebration of sound and creativity. From start to finish, the energy was unreal.   We witnessed pure magic in the Instrument Garden—watching folks jump in, explore, and make music together in real time with @boredomfightersfoundation & @circlesdrumsamples . There was no better way to introduce our newest space, Spotlight Studio, in the Music Zone.   To all the artists and bands who graced our stages: your talent is undeniable. We’re honored to be part of your journey and can’t wait to see where you go next.   Huge thanks to our sound engineers, stagehands, staff, and volunteers - you made it all happen behind the scenes, and it did not go unnoticed.   And a special thank you to Visit Fort Collins for supporting this vision and helping make this FREE day of music and community possible.   This is what it looks like to Find Your Way at the Museum. 💫

Music Trivia at @thelyriccinema is back NEXT WEEK on Wednesday May 6! We’re excited to have Starpass as our musical guest - the whimsical, indie folk, brainchild of Fort Collins artist Ilana Held (who also fronts the indie rock band, Mystee). Founded as solo side project, starpass quickly bloomed into a heartfelt exploration of unfiltered creativity and musical mischief. Held created starpass as a playground for storytelling, spontaneity, and collaboration. Drawing deeply from her British musical roots, she blends folky textures with playful charm. Pulling its name from Held’s other passion, roller derby, starpass is a love letter to the softer, stranger corners of her songwriting soul. Every first Wednesday of the month 6-8PM, immerse yourself in a music trivia experience hosted by local musicians and certified music nerds Steven Davis and Tucker Valentine. We will delve into the vast and eclectic landscape of music, cover a wide spectrum of genres and explore some intriguing musical niches. Whether you’re a certified music nerd or simply a trivia enthusiast, this event promises something for everyone. Don’t miss out on the ultimate showdown of musical wits and passion. As the two-day annual FoCoMX festival draws to a close, bands from Colorado came together to support one another and share their diverse range of music and talent. What has earned the name of "The Biggest Little Festival in America" took over downtown Fort Collins with over 450 Colorado bands across 40 different stages. Peggy Lyle, the executive director of FoCoMA, said the festival strives to not only expose locals to all that the Fort Collins music scene has to offer, but also to connect musicians from all over Colorado to expand their core networks and community.
