Who is dropping his very unique 'Writ Large' EP next week with us
You can already hear the first single, 'Toe Curl', which is up on Bandcamp and streaming platforms, and it will certainly give you an idea of the strange and every but beguiling direction this body of work takes.
Here's a little bit about the artist:
UK artist flywheel is a musician and producer based in London. With recent releases on
Matthew Herbert’s Accidental JNR label and Gimme A Break Records preceded by a run of self
releases, his productions span leftfield techno, ambient and percussive club music. flywheel’s
live show combines synths and drum machines with analogue tape, and he has previously
carried out sound installation and live scoring work. His 2024 EP for YUKU sees flywheel veer
further toward a club-focused sound, prioritising sound design, momentum and rhythmic
interplay.
