Releasing an EP in April!
After making Music for Peace and Harmony and spending time exploring slower, mid-tempo sounds, I wanted to create something completely opposite. Something groovier, more intense and more energetic songs. A total 180 degree flip of MFPAH.
First single “Lava” is out now on all DSPs and the EP will be out on 10th April. More news to follow but enjoy the music and the artwork made from my face scan at @frasermuggeridgestudio studio 🌋

Adam Freeland, Bi Disc, Camea and Hiro Ama’s Remixes of my album Without Us are out today!
Adam Freeland — whom I met in the desert while working on the album and later also worked in his Joshua Tree studio — remixed Paradise O.D. I’d been a fan of his since the early 2000s, I still remember my friend Nano traveling to Berlin to see him play when we were both living in Wiesbaden and I was gutted I couldn’t go.
Bi Disc — an old Wiesbaden friend now based in Rome — delivered a remix for Steady. Back when we all lived in Berlin he played in the band Abby, which had all sorts of overlaps with our band BBF. Somehow almost everyone in their band was called Philipp.
Hiro Ama — stellar drummer and member of Teleman — created a bruk-leaning remix* for Paradise O.D., reminds me of the Plastic People days.
And Camea giving pure rave energy with her remix for Resistance, reminiscent of right after our show at the Barbican in April.
I also made a remix myself. I don’t know why but I felt I had to.

@falle_nioke new album Love From The Sea is out now! Falle, Jimi, Matt and I spent some time in Margate writing songs a couple of years ago, and a few of them made it onto the record including the title track. Co-written and produced by me. A cosa ci rivolgiamo quando abbiamo bisogno di pace? Alcuni scelgono la natura, altri la meditazione o una tazza di tè… @hiro__ama , invece, ha trovato ispirazione in un oscuro sintetizzatore giapponese degli anni ’80, il Wakaru, il cui nome significa letteralmente “pace e armonia”.
Con questo strumento il batterista dei Teleman, produttore e polistrumentista giapponese di base a Londra, ha creato il suo primo album solista, Music for Peace and Harmony, pensato per “lenire la mente e il cuore in tempi fragili e complessi”.
