Here it is! On this sunny birthday I want to share a little part of my life with you. Mobility training. 🐾 My mobility training is a movement practice that springs from playfulness and curiosity, leading to a deeper understanding of the mechanics of body (and mind). We expose the body to all kinds of movement situations, to expand our capacity for movement. 🌱 Don't we all want to move with more ease and pleasure? Through various exercises, games and tasks we work on fundamental aspects of movement. Strength, flexibility, coordination, endurance, speed, (spatial) awareness, balance/stability. Useful in any athletic or daily-life situation. Their sound leans into calm repetition, nostalgic textures, playfulness and humorous surprises. Vythos make music you can sink into unhurried, a bit off-center, and open to wherever it wants to go. . Anti & Flore - Commonplace This improvised duet between Flore Muuse(dance/movement) and Antigoni Seferli(cello) unfolds as a living dialogue between movement and sound, space and time. An intimate moment-to-moment exchange, a constant process of relating to each other, the audience and the present moment, while also leaving space for other - imagined or past - realities. Rooted in deep listening and mutual trust, this is a performance that cannot be repeated. It is created live, in communion - with each other, the space, and those who witness it. . The renowned duo “We Are The Nice Guys” (Berend Jak & Konstantin Schreiber) will act as hosts for the evening. . . A monthly improvisation and instant composition session is happening at Kerfuffle Studio, Utrecht. The idea? Every last Saturday of the month we get together in the studio to play, question, try, fail, explore, move, make noise, voice, etc. We practice listening deeply, relating to each other and our work in possibly new ways and making decisions. Nee, het is geen seksschommel... Nee, het is niet radio-actief... NEE! Het is niet eetbaar!! En nee, je mag niet het toneel op.. 🧼 Oh, om het slijm aan te ra-? Okay, laat maar (zie foto 3) In het najaar van 2023 speelde de voorstelling FLUIDICAL in @frascatiamsterdam . FLUIDICAL, gemaakt door Sophia van der Putten, gespeeld tijdens het @amsterdamfringe festival2023! En natuurlijk wil je al publiek even ‘spelen’ met het slijm. En dat gebeurde... Elke - Show - Opnieuw! Tijdens de performance druipt er... 100 liter (versgemaakt) slijm uit een grote ton, die is bevestigd in de kap van het theater. Een technische uitdaging, met een waanzinnig artistiek effect. Ik ben erg trots op het eindresultaat en dankbaar voor het vertrouwen!
