THIS SATURDAY! Join us at Museumnacht Den Haag 2025, where we present a video program featuring zeven works by artists from The Hague, selected through an open call, inspired by Jenna Sutela’s exhibition Ave bossa, bow ole.
At the heart of Sutela’s exhibition is her concept of tech povera: raw, experimental, and living technology that contrasts with the prescribed, centralized image of tech we usually know. Think compost, flowers, and worms generating sound together – as in Vermi-Cell (2023), an underground installation where decomposition itself works as an audio filter.
The selected video works by artists from The Hague resonate with these ideas.
In our main entrance space, the following video works will be shown on loop:
Flora Reznik, Rio das Mortes
Zahar Bondar, Forehead Studies
Leonie Brandner & Nina Guo, If Only
Penelope Cain, Veins of salt/rumble and roll
GC Heemskerk & Bernice Nauta, The Plantriarchy
Eline Benjaminsen & Dayna Casey, The Flora: Hedging (a.k.a. Hedge Heist)
Annabel Quick, The net will cradle the fish
Are you joining us at Museumnacht Den Haag 2025 this Saturday? We’re open from 20:00 - 00-00 hrs. See you there! 🤎
Time goes so fast, it seems like yesterday that I was in the Amazon, listening from the mouth of some generous locals the stories of the river and the forest. And also from the mouth of Rio das Mortes itself… These are just some visual traces of that experience, by the DOP of my dreams, @milenaseta_ And what would have we done without the care and carisma of producer extraordinaire @roma.nogueira
I am so very happy and proud to share that my short film Rio das Mortes has been added to the @eye_film museum collection and it will premiere there on September 9th, as part of the Eye on Art program, together with three other films that I am very curious about.

💥 Out now 💥 Script for a Synthetic Play: The Public Building
What moves between the walls of our public buildings? Who is it that truly inhabits these spaces? And what roles do we play within them? What if we are both the building blocks and the inhabitants, the creators and the created? What if we write the script as we go along?
This book stems from a two-day performative symposium, Unknown Grounds: The Public Building, which brought together artists and thinkers to immerse in speculative scenarios.
