Continuing the Michelin Guide…Columbia, SC… you surprise me in the best way 🤍 Thank you for again for having me!🫶
Spent last weekend with the incredible team behind
@columbiafoodandwine and let me tell you… stop sleeping on Cola’s food + culture scene. It’s layered, it’s diverse, and it’s quietly stepping into its moment.
Checked into
@lanterncolumbia (more on this cozy, mission-driven stay soon 👀) and you can hop straight on their public transit to kick off a Michelin Guide lunch tour across the city. Yes… Columbia is stepping into the spotlight.
And can we talk about the vibe? You get that walkable city energy without the coastal price tag… $3 parking for 3 HOURS downtown?? I had to blink twice 🤯 let’s get back to the food…
🍽️ MICHELIN GUIDE TOUR: (I hopped on at the end of the leg but they also toured Gather COLA 🆕 & Hotel Trundle
✨
@motorsupply – Do not sleep on their burger — it was a hit, 10/10 would get again!
✨
@807divinorosso – classic Italian, cozy + romantic, and elegant a Michelin-recommended gem, desserts and wine selections 👌🏼
🏆 HONORABLE MENTIONS (James Beard recognized talent):
✨
@luladrake – James Beard Award Winner (2024), Columbia’s first and a total game changer 🥂
✨
@citygrit – Chef Sarah Simmons bringing serious James Beard–recognized energy
✨
@terraweco – long-standing excellence in the SC dining scene
✨ Motor Supply Company Bistro – consistently recognized for culinary impact, unassuming, classic southern, done just right
Columbia has officially climbed my list of favorite small cities… it’s giving charm, culture, and culinary intention without trying too hard.
If you’ve been curious about a food festival that feels lively but intimate… where you can connect, taste, and experience it without the overwhelm…
✨ Save the date for next year’s
@columbiafoodandwine and go see (and taste) it for yourself.
Make sure to follow
@columbiafoodandwine and
@hoangviton for more upcoming events and food-related fun! ✨
