A word by TWR72: “On November 10th, 2025, at 11:54, I had no idea who @maramenace was (my mistake!). By 11:55, I had stumbled across her Instagram, and by 12:00, I was already asking if she’d be interested in releasing on Float.
I was instantly intrigued by her sound and the bold choices she made throughout her demos. They were full of specific details and strong storytelling, while still being deeply focussed for club use. And also, with some of the deepest low-end I’ve heard in a long time, which I absolutely love.
I also have to mention her work ethic. Mara was incredibly proactive and persistent on many levels, something that isn’t always easy for an artist when communicating towards a label, especially with finding the right balance. But I genuinely appreciated it, because at the end of the day, it’s your work, your art which deserves the best”.

A word by TWR72: In the fast-paced society we live in, people tend to forget what’s already there. And how to truly appreciate what we have. We’re constantly chasing the new, the newer, the newest.
For me, Gene Richards Jr is someone to cherish. He has this unmistakable sound, driven by jackin’ grooves that simply never get old. No chasing trends or fancy techniques, just a deep understanding of groove and how to translate the right energy onto the dance floor. It’s about placing the right sounds in the right moments. And honestly, that’s a seriously underrated craft.
Every time I’ve played one of Gene’s tracks in a set, there’s been a positive crowd reaction. Every single time, no exaggeration. That’s why I’m incredibly proud to have Gene releasing his first EP on Float Records, featuring an amazing rework by Vinicius.
A word by TWR72: “When @rkay_aespheric sent me the demo of The Power of 3-4, I was intrigued in a strange but exciting way. The track is bold, aggressive, and completely in your face, yet at the same time it felt like a breath of fresh air. A sound that stands apart from much of what I hear in the scene today.
What I love most is the huge stadium-like energy the track carries. It keeps building to a point where you think it has reached its absolute peak — and then it pushes even further, taking it over the edge. That bold decision from Rkay is something I truly respect.
Please don’t sleep on this release, or on artists who dare to do things differently and push the boundaries of their sound. They’re the ones who help the techno scene grow and evolve. Welcome to Float, Rkay!”
