Dear followers, I have an important announcement. I stutter, a speech issue that most of you are probably familiar with. And you’re likely thinking, “I don’t mind it at all” and I completely agree with you, because that’s how I should feel about it too.
Unfortunately, it negatively affects me every day, probably because I’ve always wanted to keep it a secret and have turned it into a taboo myself, simply because I feel ashamed of it. I don’t know if I’ll ever overcome stuttering, but I want to move away from keeping it a secret. So, with this message towards all of you, the first step for me has been taken.
If you want to read more about how, when, and why it affects me as a person and as a dj/producer feel free to continue reading by swapping the post.
If not, I completely understand; at least now you know that I stutter.
Thanks for reading. ❤️
To start 2026, I want to share a few words of appreciation for all the producers out there. These are not easy times. For many producers, the scene feels out of balance. There isn’t enough recognition and financial support, and there are a lot of DJs who play our tracks, thrive off of it, but don’t share IDs. And yes, it feels unfair, because producers/writers are the foundation of the music industry. I hear and see many producers expressing frustration about this, along with other issues tied to this imbalance. Some even decide to stop producing because it no longer feels meaningful.
But, I sincerely hope you’ll keep producing techno, or any music you love, even if it’s only for your own pleasure. I’m optimistic that changes will come in the (near) future. And to all the dj’s out there that do share IDs and support the producers; big love to you. <3
A big, big, big thank you to all producers that released on Float Records this year. Your trust means a lot, and I truly hope these releases have been a small step forward for each of you. It’s inspiring to see so many artists who released on Float in the past, and as recently as last year, continuing to gain more and more recognition.
Thank you @avant.ocs@dogonacid.radiance@tremor_live@_tiemokokone and myself (why not 😂), for all the incredible productions this year. I’d absolutely love to welcome you back on Float again in the near future. ❤️

A word by TWR72: “Since March 2025 I haven’t been able to do what I love most for 7 months due to physical and mental issues: producing music. The two versions of Get Out of my Mind were produced at the end of 2024. Get Out of my Mind is literally a translation of how I felt during this period. Last month I could finally finish them and slowly got back to producing. I’m hopefully on my way up again and excited for new projects to unfold.”

@TWR72 is an Amsterdam 🇳🇱 based techno project known for a forward thinking sound built on pulsing rhythms, a cutting drive and a signature groove.
In 2010, TWR72 quickly set new standards with fresh productions. After signing to Turbo Recordings, TWR72 released “Endless” a locked groove masterpiece of 72 loops. A collab with Truncate and the launch of Float Records only pushed things further.
From remixing key artists to debuting at Berghain, signing with Figure Music and touring across Europe and the US, TWR72 keeps evolving while staying true to a stripped-back, tracky and tough as hell sound.

Same as last year, the 4 hours felt like 4 minutes. Thanks to all who came to dance (or just listened) and showed me love during and after the set ❤️
I see you and I hear you.
Last slide are all the producers that I’ve played during the set. Big big love for your music.
