Santos Sisters Comic Book Breaking News🥕🥕
The SANTOS SISTERS Return in an All-New Epic three-issue adventure!
Teaming up with a monstrous-looking, but irresistible mysterious "mysteryman" with an oddly elongated, orange head that spews flames and says just the darndest things, the Santos Sisters hitch a ride on a ghostly train, follow a wandering trail of happy socks, battle Energy balls of pure Fubar, find buffalo nickels with three legs, see a car being driven by a chair, and eat some rather nasty Brussels sprout flavored ice cream. Along the way, the girls meet King Cotton, Madame Spidergarden, a cannibal Cabin Boy, a Barber shop quartet of third world dictators and even wave goodbye to Tom from MySpace.
As the sisters and their mysterious companion venture deeper into this stranger-than-strange strange land, a bunch of unsettling questions begin to mount: Will Ambar and Alana ever find their way back to Las Brisas? What if the Mystery Train offers no destination? Is meeting the Cannibal Cabin Boy a stroke of luck or a formal invitation to a dinner? Is the treasure they seek worth the price of never coming home? Find out this August in the SANTOS SISTERS ONE BIG FUN SPECIAL MINI SERIES #1.
NOTE: This issue is featuring a special new guest co-writer: a 32nd degree Metabaron, dynamite juggler, borderline genius, ranking field marshal of surrealism and the man who proved the earth is flat, Mr. Bob Burden.
Celebrating our 20 year anniversary this summer with an exciting new location. Will feel like a homecoming in a way, while also continuing the “community mall” concept that was pioneered at the Lloyd Center.
Having so much fun with our new Gachapon machines. Come on by and give em a spin.
‘Gacha’ is the sound when you turn the wheel. ‘Pon’ is the sound of your capsule toy dropping down.
Our growing collection of machines includes - Goods of Tadanori Yokoo, Junji Ito, Moomin Keychains, CD Boombox with record/playback, Animals with Oranges on Heads, and of course… Sad Astroboy
In my brief time as a gacha fan I’ve learned that, like comic books, new series of capsule toys are offered for preorder every month. New releases are made to order and when they’re gone - - - they’re gone!

Floating World Comics will be hosting a special screening of Terry Zwigoff's underground documentary classic CRUMB, centered around one of the most important — and controversial — figures in comix, Robert Crumb.
Floating World will be on site to launch the latest Crumb collection, 'Art & Beauty,' published by Fantagraphics, with an exclusive book release party starting at 6pm before the 7pm screening.
Local cartoonist Chris Cilla, who crafted a limited number of handmade event posters available for purchase, will also be on hand with his comix.

"Don't glide towards false light... only towards your own strange fire."
Feel the groping confusion of heroes and villains alike as they navigate a detached and smog ridden future propagated by countless vapid hologram simulations. When a middle aged alcoholic stumbles upon a console that jacks him into a long shuttered digital swampscape, he sees a fragment of beauty in a vast bog of unknowns. Will he be able to hold on to it or be engulfed in chaos? You'll be able to smell the burning ozone and hear the low level hum of advanced cybernetics when you read Carlos Gonzalez's mind bending cyberpunk saga, Everglide!
