But what is this? Physical media is cool but its been burning us bad in recent years, just like.. high maintenance, fussy, expensive, doesn't want to go to certain countries, can't fit in a suitcase. Etc. we love it, but we have always wanted to make our digital books better ever since we made IA HD remix a handful of years ago (pic 3,4). It can be done and we just needed to commit and assemble a team to make it happen. We finally start, today. This is something new that we dont know how it will end, but we need to make it. We are gonna be at @braindeadstudiosfairfax fantasy fest this weekend with some OOP stuff!! come thru. It's an extremely heavy line up with lots of stuff we are very excited about, AND we have hidden copies of ex.mag 6, the last of our 2nd SaGa tokingdom set from @goblintom , some @moldmoldmold zines and minis on display, plus some more stuff like the dark fantasy Ex Mag vol 3 that just got reprinted for the first time.
The new Ex.Mag volume has fallen out of orbit and crash landed at SHQ! It’s picked up some space debris in the form of not one, but TWO DIFFERENT SIGNED BOOKPLATES!
Malachi Ward and Nicolette Wood both lent their pens bring you two SHQ ‘sculsies! And now we pit them against each other in the bookplate ring of death.

Nick Borelli will be at MoCCA in NYC with us this weekend (and desert Island tonight)!! A new small zine by @moldmoldmold is ready for this weekend, and you can also pick up where we will also have some of the @smash_bash x moldmoldmold minis. We painted one today, they are pretty fun to paint. Very chunky. The zine is 16 pages of ghosts and skeletons (ie. Nighthaunt), risoprinted w Aqua, sunflower and brown. For those of you not at adepticon, come thru and say hi to us. Ok!!
The zine is a small print run, at the moment it's just for irl shows like MoCCA and then brain dead fantasy fest. Leftovers will be brought to TCAF. We want to promote getting stuff IRL so come by the table or ask a buddy to get it for you if you can't make it in person!
We are very proud and honored to be releasing an English edition of Creature Core by the legendary Yasushi Nirasawa (who sadly passed 10 years ago). Creature Core is a collection of 3d and 2d works of monsters & demons, (even a couple cenobites?!?) showcasing the iconic style of Nirasawa, one that fuses Asymmetrical Goth skeleton BDSM insect lizard creatures and motorcycles into something else. This book was originally published by Hobby Japan in 1992. Just naming a few, but Nirasawa's designs have graced Kamen Rider, Shin Megami Tensei, soul Calibur, and more. We will be finalizing a release date in the near future!!! Tysm we hope you are excited bc this has been one of our secret favorite books for a long time and we are looking forward to sharing his work with more people.
Also you might have noticed we have a lot of hobby books now, and after some thought, we are going to be starting a new hobby focused imprint soon with.. let's just say. Whatever you know peow2 does with comics, we will be doing that with our hobby imprint.
